Notes:
On Dec. 24, 1830 he negotiated a contract to buy Lot 32 of Township 5, Range 11. That is Arkwright Township in Chautauqua Township. 1840 Census shows John, Jr. residing in Arkwright Twp. Chautauqua Co NY
May have been living in Jackson Twp. Tioga Co. PA in 1822. A John, Jr. is listed on the tax role, along with John (whose name was removed) and a James.
A note found in the archives says that John left for Oregon and died "Crossing the plains" Not specific as to location.
